Starmail is can be configured for 2 to 4 ports (standard cabinet) and up to 8 ports (extended cabinet) and 30 hours of voice storage. It is housed in a compact metal case that is wall-mounted in the telephone equipment room. Starmail has all the necessary recordings and prompts to work right out of the box. Or you can record your greetings in you own voice. Use it to answer all incoming calls, as a back-up to an operator, or simply as a voice messaging system. |

Samsung Starmail is easy to administer. An assigned System Administrator may use the administrators password to gain access to Starmail and make desired changes to the system. The administration process is interactive and as simple as dialing into Starmail internally through an extension or remotely from home or another location. Enter the administrator's password during the first few seconds of the main greeting. Starmail's automated voice responds with "enter Function". From this point, make all changes by entering a particular Function code as listed in the Administrator Programming Manual. It's so easy you can do it in your sleep. On-site or Remote Programming including recording of system announcements, prompts and directory names are accomplished through any touchtone phone. Programming of announcements, name changes and other day-to-day operations are done via the administrator's password. All other permanent programming can be accessed only by a higher level programmer's password. A clean, isolated power source is recommended. For uninterrupted service, use an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) system. |
